Youth well-being coaching
How can sessions help?
Most feedback that I have received over the years from children and young people has been, "that it was just nice to talk". Seems so simple but children and young people do not always get the time to just be themselves and talk feely. A child or young person is not always what they seem on the outside. A confident, sociable and popular young person can in-fact be hiding all of their negative and problematic thoughts and feelings.
Sessions allow a young person to talk openly and honestly without being judged, that alone can work wonders and allow the young person to become a happier and more confident person.

Sessions are always a joint effort, working together to achieve personal needs and goals. In addition to talking psychoeducational techniques are used to help understand personal mental health better and coping strategies. We can also work whilst completing enjoyable activities. Sessions are adapted to the individual to be able to make positive changes for a calmer, happier more resilient life.

What's said in session, remains confidential unless the young person asks and gives consent for any information to be shared.
This is discussed in the introduction session, along with safeguarding.
